Changing the Visitor Invitation Settings

To change the visitor invitations settings,

  1. From the Banckle Chat home screen, click Settings.
    The Banckle Chat Administrator screen displays.
  2. From the Administrator home screen, click Widgets.
    The Widgets Settings screen displays.
  3. From the Widgets Settings list, click your desired deployment.
    The HTML Code tab displays.
    You will see default Banckle Chat widget named as "Default Deployment". You need to click on "Default Deployment" to view widget settings.
  4. Click Visitor Invitations tab.
    The Visitor Invitations tab displays.
  5. Select the Automatic invite visitor after... check box to automatically invite visitors after a certain number of minutes.
    You can select the time duration after which the visitor is invited for live chat from the drop-down.
  6. Select the Proactive invite visitors check box to enable proactive live chat invitations to your website visitors.
  7. Select the Enable page specific invitation(Automatic & Proactive) check box to enable live chat with visitors on certain pages of your website only.
  8. Select the Send confirm message to visitor(Proactive) check box to proactively send confirmation message to the visitor.
  9. Select the Include Below URL Patterns check box to enable live chat on the URLs defined in the field below.
  10. Select the Exclude Below URL Patterns check box to disable live chat on the URLs defined in the field below.
    You can restore the default settings by clicking Reset Default.
  11. Click Save.
    The Visitor Invitation settings are successfully saved.
