Banckle.Chat ImprovedPrivacySettings Improved Privacy Settings and Chat Sessions Management by Banckle

Banckle.Chat recently introduced a number of improved security measures including Data Encryption and Data Obfuscation. We are now pleased to announce an enhanced live chat system with robust privacy settings allowing website chat administrators to implement specific policies for restricting access to the customer conversations.

Account Admins can control how available chat operators access customer live conversations history. Based on your usage scenario, you can apply privacy settings to let following type of users to access customer conversations history as required. But before that, you may look at this video tutorial to familiarize yourself with Banckle.Chat Admin Console and efficiently work with required app functions.

  - All available users - all operators signed into Banckle.Chat
  - Operators in a specific department only
  - Operators who participated in a specific live chat session only
  - Account administrators only

All Available Users option will let anyone signed into Banckle.Chat, with our without admin level access, view all available live chat sessions conducted previously.

Operators In a Specific Department Only option will let the operators added in the department which visitor selected before sending in a live chat request, view the history of available chat transcripts. For instance, if you have two departments linked with your deployment, Customer Support and HR. A website visitor wants to chat with the HR department, he selects this department and sends in an online chat request, and a chat session is started. Only the operators added in HR department will be able to view this chat session.

Operators Who Participated In a Specific Live Session Only option allows the view of history of live sessions where a specific operator accepted a live request and conducted the online chat session. If this chat session was transferred to another operator, both the initial and later operators who participated in the live session will be able to view it in the list of history sessions.

Account Administrator Only option will let only the account admins to view chat history. Anyone without the admin level access will not have access to previously conducted live sessions.

With this feature, Banckle.Chat has taken another step towards firmly establishing itself as one of the complete enterprise level, cloud hosted live chat solutions in the market.

Enter a random password in password field and click Generate to encrypt it. This could be later used for accessing the data you encrypted.

Press Save to apply the changes.

Operator Screen

During a live chat session, you can now encrypt any number. Select the number to view encryption option.

  2. After successfull installation options page for extension will be open in a new tab.
  3. Connect your Banckle.Chat Offline Notifier with your Banckle Account, by providing Username/Password and APIKey.
  4. After connecting successfully, you'll start receiving notification.
