Important Security Notice About the Heartbleed/OpenSSL bug

Dear valued Banckle users,

 

On 7 April, the OpenSSL project issued a Security Advisory notifying the public about a serious vulnerability in the encryption software used by a large majority of Internet services.

At Banckle, we pride ourselves on security. As a matter of priority our teams responded to the advisory and we fixed the few instances where this vulnerability appeared. Banckle services are not vulnerable to Heartbleed.

We do not have any evidence that your private data has been compromised.

However, since your security is our highest concern, in an effort to ensure there is no additional security risk, we strongly recommend you to change your account password.

Banckle.Campaign for Cloud APIs – How To Create A List and Add Subscribers?

The Banckle Newsletter for February 2014 made a big announcement for the release of Banckle Cloud APIs to help developers in creating applications to ensure the best customer support, sales and marketing functions. An important part of this new release is to provide an API platform for real-time email marketing and campaign delivery. This particular API known as Banckle.Campaign for Cloud APIs has been introduced to create, manage, send as well as track email and newsletter campaigns.

In order to access the cloud API for Banckle.Campaign, you must:

  1. Have a valid Banckle Account.
  2. Have permission to access Banckle.Campaign API service.

Banckle.Chat Classical Interface

Banckle.Chat classical UI is no longer available. The development team has been working on optimizing the new (HTML) UI for the past few months to make it more user-friendly and feature rich. The result is a much improved live customer assistance and app management experience.

With a number of enhancements already introduced, and many more to be added in upcoming versions, the HTML interface has now permanently taken over from the Classical UI.

 


Banckle Subscription Plan Names Updated

With the launch of Banckle Cloud APIs, we have updated the naming scheme of our subscription plans. The new plan names better reflect the different subscription levels available.

The old subscription names have been replaced with the new naming scheme across Banckle Cloud Apps and Banckle Cloud APIs. This change is for new as well as existing subscribers. We have kept the naming consistent in the billing and accounts management module for a smooth transition from old to new naming for existing customers. Whether you are a startup, an established medium-sized company or a large enterprise, Banckle subscriptions are tailor-made for your business needs.

  1. Please download the latest version from GitHub.
  2. Close MS Outlook if it’s open.
  3. After running setup.exe Banckle CRM Setup Wizard will start.
  4. After the Welcome screen, select the Installation Folder, Confirm the Installation and Wait for the installation to complete.

How to use Banckle CRM for MS Outlook?

Building CRM tools, enhancing the functionality of existing systems or integrating CRM to your platform is very easy and Since we have used Swagger for describing and visualizing our RESTful APIs so it makes it even easier to test the functionality and see the pattern of XML or JSON responses. Banckle CRM .NET Wrapper

Banckle has already exposed a set of APIs for its applications. We have got pretty good response from the developer community so we have been working on some Wrapper libraries to complement the Banckle CRM RESTful API wrapper in all the major languages. We feel happy to announce that the first batch of these wrapper libraries is just out in the form of Banckle CRM .NET Wrapper. These are released for the fellow developers belonging to .NET community.

Getting Started

  1. Download the latest release. Extract the archive and place Banckle.dll in an appropriate place for inclusion in your project.
  2. Add a reference to your project for the dll.
  3. Add "using" statements to your code for the following namespaces:

With the Skype CTC feature, Banckle CRM allows you to easily call any of your sales prospects, contacts and accounts directly from the CRM application in a web browser. Sign into Sitefinity Project Manager and select Edit in Visual Studio.

Create a new ASP.NET User Control in your project. Open the control for edit and enter following markup:
